Our original paper bag is also known as a self-opening sack. It stands upright on its own. Short handles, copper rivets, wood interior base & folded bottom. A near exact replica of the iconic paper bag, but made with vegetable leather for the long haul.It will darken and develop a unique patina with age, use and exposure to sunlight, oil and water. Leather care
Our raw vegetable tanned leather has been pre-conditioned with pure Neatsfoot oil. We do recommend regular oiling (approximately every six months) to maintain its longevity. Oiling should be done with a fine-fibered cloth, sheepskin, or horsehair brush using even circular strokes—a little oil goes a long way.
